I just emailed ZZP about getting a tuned PCM for my LeSabre, to hold me off until this winter when I can afford to get a turbo kit. That's right, I'm going to have a turbocharged Buick LeSabre 2000 to do this kind of thing in.
Oh hell yes.

Is that a V6?!

Yup. 3.8 liter Buick 3800 Series II

An updated version of the very same V6 that was in Regal Turbos, GN's & GNXs.

Yeah when you go all out on a Buick V6 it sounds insane.

Did he put a cam in it? I can't tell by the sound.

That's awesome!! You're turning the old battleship up to 11 with some new parts!
Just make sure your tranny can take the torque.. I'd suggest looking in to a gear kit or something as well!

It's highly likely. There weren't any details in the video description, but I think this might actually be twincharged with a turbo and super. Definitely has a lot of supporting mods that I won't be doing, since I won't run near as much boost.

Yeah, if I go over 300 horsepower I'll be probably buying the HD version of the tranny that was used in supercharged L67 powertrains. I don't plan on doing any hard launches or anything with it though so I should be fine.

That LeSabre doesn't give a fuck about balance. Point and squirt as hell.

I used to have an L67 GTP. Went through 2 transmissions in 2 years. One of which I rebuilt with all new parts from tripleedgeperformance.com. That's when I said fuck this and sold it. Oh and it had a stock engine, aside from u-bend and resonator delete.

That's what I told myself when I started driving the jetta. I proceeded to wait 3 months, and then I found out how fun it was to peel out of the parking lot at my tennis club.

I was being facetious. He's got that thing cammed from here to oblivion. That sound is unmistakable.
